NRA and former leader, Wayne LaPierre, found liable of misusing funds

After a week of deliberations, a New York jury Friday found both the National Rifle Association and its former leader, Wayne LaPierre, liable of fraudulently spending NRA donor funds. He has been ordered to pay back more than $4.3 million. Errol Barnett has details on the verdict.

Another great example of our two-tiered justice system in the US, one for the rich/powerful and one for anyone else. If I or any other middle class person had spent over five million dollars of our employers money we would be wearing an orange jumpsuit as a ward of the state for many years. LaPierre gets a relative slap on the wrist in the form of fines.

Just fyi to my American bros and sisters on the left the members of the NRA who have been outraged with his leadership. So much so there have been multiple new orgs to take their place have popped up. The point I’m trying to make is this is one of those rare moments where both sides actually agree…. The only thing I think most on the right would rather him be in jail. Either way enjoy it yall it’s rare we all can agree even if it’s for different reasons.
