Peyton Manning just needed something to focus all his frustrations on. You should have set a houseplant next to the tank and named it Tom Brady.

My mother used to have an African cichlid she named Godzilla that would always greet her when she came in the room or when it was feeding time, there was also a dogfaced puffer that did the same at the hospital that led to puffers being my mother's favorite fish

"And my least favorite snail is everything else."
This is probably my favorite youtube short that I've seen, you managed to fit so much info into 54 seconds and the shortness made some pretty funny moments! Great content as always, even when it's a less common format.

*Unicron:* _"You return, and you do not have the Matrix of Leadership? I gave you new life for the purpose of stealing that cursed relic from the Autobots! I will not accept failure next time- either you will fulfill the task I gave you, or you WILL... ooh~! She's dropping in food!"_

I also got a dwarf gourami that looks just like yours. I love his personality, the sounds he makes when he eats, the way he greets me, very active and an overall great fish to keep.

I came offended for peacock gudgeons, but that's fair enough they don't stand out as much as others. I still think they're cute and I like that they're Australian like me!

I have a school of neon tetras... But one of them is too cool for school... He hangs out over my Cryptocoryne and attacks other tetras that dare to encroach on his territory... I call him the Crypt Keeper.

We have an algae eater that's around 14 years old now.... he's name is Joseph, we had to buy a larger aquarium teice thanks to him, he had around 100 children so far (we sold them when they got to the size of 5 cm), he used to be really shy and got scared by everithing
now he's about 30 cm long, and likes to show up, he even seems to say hi to us some times (we go near the awarium, he comes to the glass, then swims back)

I love cory catfish. Their super chill but also very playful and a very good hardy fish

I had not kept a gourami since I was a kid in the 70s. Recently I got honey and sparkling gouramis and they are terrific!

Excellent content, Irene!! Schooling fish- Cardinal tetras, or Chili Rasboras!! Idea for next short: #1 Names for spotlight species for a tank! #2 Favorite fish in a species only tank? (Furcatas? Cherry Shrimp?) #3 If you had any size tank, what one fish would you keep? Just one. 300g+ Oscar? A 10g with a small, ornamental goldfish? #4 What is your favorite live food you breed to feed your fish?

My fave snail is the rabbit snail, they're less likely to drown when they tip over because they have a longer body that can twist... They're a bit of an oddball with an unusual look but they're fun to watch!

Hope I'm not fishsplaining here, but I have a few pseudomugil connieae (related to the forktails you mentioned and are indeed amazing) and actually looking for tateurndina ocellicauda (peacock gudgeons) because they can be found together in the wild.

Thank you for answering my question! I’ve been thinking about it for a while now! Keep up the great work Irene!

I love Peacock Gudgeons. They’re really pretty and they explore all around the tank at all levels
