Leros Castle (Dodecanese Island, Greece) early July 2020

In this video, I take the hike up to the Leros Castle on the Dodecanese island of Greece. The views from up on the hill are incredible and even better from on top of the castle. There's a road that you can drive up on or stairs pretty much carved into the hillside if you're up for the hike. It's not too hard if you're in any sort of decent shape, and nice to see the various angles of the views as you climb. The road will also take you by the old windmills along the ridge, so I took the hike up and walked out on the road to see the windmills.

The village between Pandeli and Agia Marina is Platanos, where one can find the town hall, so Platanos is (sort of) the capital of Leros.
