HEQ Swan K1 Pro | Verticle Take Off H-Wing

In this video, I am taking a look at the HEQ Swan K1 Pro VTOL (verticle take-off and landing) this is a fixed-wing / h-wing that can take of and land vertically like a drone and when in the air can go into fixed-wing mode and fly like a traditional fixed-wing. This drone is modular and packs up fairly compactly into the included carrying case. The Swan K1 can be assembled easily in minutes and includes a controller with a built-in screen. Because of the verticle take-off and landing, you don't need a large area for landing this fixed-wing.

Love the fact that it's VTOL but wish you could fly it via 4G. The Parrot Disco (fixed wing...no longer in production) is not a VTOL but some users have created an easy mod that allows you to fly it using the Disco controller but the video and the control signal is relayed over a 4G signal which basically means that you can fly it for as long as the battery will last...and with the Disco you can install a battery that will give you ~1.5 hrs of flight time. The Parrot disco flies a but slower at 25-35 mph but with a 1.5hr flight time you can cover a LOT of ground and still have video signal the entire time Plus the Disco provides stabilized video through the camera that comes with it (granted only 1080p..but it is quite good). Parrot disco was ahead of it's time. The downside is that the Disco isn't a VTOL so you need some space for take off and landing. It would be great if SWAN would allow you to fly it and get a video signal feed via 4G...That would make it worth the $1300 they are charging.

At the 4:57 mark of your video, just when the craft lands, the winglet (wing tip) on the right side of the video appears loose or broken. Are those winglets supposed to be rigid and locked in place during flight? Thanks for the review.

The Swan can only land vertically so I suppose due to the large surface it must be very susceptible to wind in the landing phase (or hovering in general)?! Any first insights on that? Hovering stability?

Great video as usual. I had Parrot Disco, went on sale in USA for few days at $400 before it was discontinued. Unfortunately crash landed on one of the landing approach with a sudden gust of wind. This vtol is great that it doesn't need an airfield for take off and landing. Price is too steep for me to even consider it. Having bought Disco at $400, spoiled me.
Wish Parrot company kept the product both the Disco and Anafi. By the way I had Anafi as well. Some of it's feature is now appearing in dji drones, namely sphere, etc. Not to mention you never got props in your videos ever!
