"Women like you dont get pregnant" said my Dr. I cried driving home. Found another Dr. My kids are 26 and 29! Yelling it from the rooftop! Dont give up!

"Impossible" and "unlikely" are not the same. So either don't give up hope or make sure you use protection depending on your goals!

I did IUI and IVF unsuccessfully in my early 40s. I was told I wouldn't conceive without a donor egg. I was pissed but decided to just give it a try. Turned out I didn't need to because I conceived my now 11 yo daughter naturally. I later saw the doctor and she said your daughter is a miracle (I know) but it won't happen again. Two and a half years later, at the age of 44, I delivered my now 8 yo son. Don't lose hope, Mamas!

My male doctor treated my frequent miscarriages as just a fact of my life. He was so uncaring I found a female GP, cried all over her desk and she found me a female OBGYN (there were only 2 in my city). That lady did all the right tests and supervised my two successful pregnancies (with pre-eclampsia and two premature c-section deliveries). Women understand women, they listen to us and they know what drives us.

My mom was told that she couldn't get pregnant, and afterward, she got pregnant with me, so... 100% agree with you.

I was told that after my endometriosis diagnosis. I had had one child already, and was told that there was no way I would ever be able to get pregnant again. Well, five years later, I had another. I love this doctor for coming out and telling it like it is!!

I TOTALLY AGREE! I was told after a failed IVF procedure that I could never conceive naturally due to not having “anymore” eggs and age (I was 43 at the time). As I write this, I’m trying to control my 2.5 year old who’s trying to jump off a couch. I got pregnant naturally, carried with no glitches to term and opted for a CS. Breastfed and have enjoyed every moment of having this terror in my life.
At almost 47, I still have very regular periods and Dr keeps asking if I want another baby since all my stats are optimal but Iv chosen to keep the IUD in.

I have PCOS, currently 36 weeks pregnant! My last OBGYN was absolutely insane, ignored all of my concerns! It took 4 appointments to get him to listen to my concerns and finally get a PCOS diagnosis. He insisted I get my ovaries removed but I didn't listen, SO GLAD I DIDNT. He also ignored his 'charts' for months at a time, ignoring my constant requests for a new birth control refill 😠. He is actually well known at my pharmacy for this issue! So glad I didn't listen to him, so glad I switched gynecologists!

Every woman going through infertility needs somebody like you to tell them that! Thank you for reminding them to never give up!

I've been married for 12 years and I couldn't make it despite trying everything. Then with Emily's training kit I made it in 3 weeks. The easiest way is completely online!

Facts! I was diagnosed with PCOS and multiple cysts on both ovaries and would not be able to have children. I was devastated. I have 2 children

My mother was told that, too. She was 55 yrs old and still having a normal cycle. My dad was15 years older, and they had had 5 sons together, all but one married. Then 3 months later, her periods stopped. The same doctor, without testing her, said she was menopausal and sent her home. 7 months later, she gave birth to me and my brother. Unfortunately, due to complications, she passed away. So yes, some doctors are assholes, and just because it says M.D. doesn't mean they didn't graduate last in their class.

My right fallopian tube  ruptured and had to be removed (ectopic pregnancy), and years before that, my left ovary had to be removed because it had a cyst growing on and wrapped all around it. They told me that because my only ovary was on the opposite side of my only fallopian tube, I could no longer get pregnant.

Two years later, I found out I was pregnant.  When I told that Dr what my old Dr had told me..he said "women's bodies are amazing, " and my eggs began to find their way to the opposite side. I've had 3  babies since the day I was told I could never get pregnant again.

You are so right,   Doctors shouldn't say that. The first baby, after I was told i could no longer get pregnant, wasn't planned as I went off BC. Why bother when it was "impossible" to get pregnant.  He was my surprise baby. The other two were planned. But until I had gotten pregnant, I was so sad, it was a very depressed two years. We wanted a large family, and I was lead to believe the 3 children I already had were going to be my only.

I gave birth to my 6th baby on Jan 4, 2024. She will be my last, tho. And we are so happy!

Thank you for telling women out there not to give up hope! For as long as you have the parts, you can have babies! Even if they don't line up.

Thanks, Doctor, for sharing this message.

Sorry, comment so long! ❤️❤️❤️

I was told I would never be able to conceive. My “never” just turned 8 this past March with absolutely no medical intervention. 💕

My current doc who I met after multiple miscarries is an angel to me. She looked at me and said “we’re going to figure this out” after our first appointment with her and now I’m pregnant w my second baby girl. LISTEN TO THIS get a new doc if you feel like you need to ❤

Thank you. I feel like this is was offered to me to have hope. I am 34, have both PCOS and Endo and I was ready to give up the idea of getting pregnant after almost a year of trying. I have some hope it will happen someday
