Chrollo even gave Hisoka multiple warnings that he rigged the fight heavily in his favor from the start and even told him in detail all nen abilities he was going to use. Hisoka lost and death affected him so badly that he changed his entire attitude towards fighting and will no longer let's his targets prepare anymore.

Like... Chrollo did not even *want* to fight in the first place. All his preparation was to *ensure* an easy win. It was planned. We don't know how many abilities Chrollo possesses, and he barely took any damage at all during the fight. He was smart enough to overplay his injuries to plan his fatal move without Hisoka noticing. Hisoka also underestimated Chrollo's speed, assuming he couldn't have many more puppets when there were *many* more.

Hisoka lost because he was too arrogant. After losing, he might not make the same mistake. If there's a rematch, things will go much differently for both of them. Hisoka won't want to lose again. And Chrollo is pissed, which motivates him even more but might be his undoing. Especially when more of the PT will die.

I think Chrollo will still win on a random encounter, he just did a lot of prep because it was a pointless match for him, nothing to gain actually so he doesn't want unecessary injuries. Random encounter will be high to extreme diff, prep time low diff

It’s not unfair or anything—Chrollo won that and his thinking is goated. But pretty sure Hisoka wins (now) anywhere else. Hisoka wouldn’t think like Chrollo, being a able to predict Chrollo would murder like 1000 spectators during the fight using them as puppets bc Hisoka only wants to kill strong opponents. He has no time for weak opponents.


But in turn it helped Hisoka in the end. After dying and coming back to life his Nen became stronger. So look out Troupe—Hisoka’ s on your boat! 😂

Chrollo did manipulate the situation alot. He technically set the environment up to his insane advantage, but nothing said he couldn't.
Kinda like how Hisoka won his match way back in the heavens arena arc, he allowed his hands to be severed because he knew he had something that could fix it for him. Same deal
