When I buy a expensive knife ( admittedly I do this less frequently, as I grow older ) I expect to get what I pay for ( quality, fit, finish and so on ). When I find a
inexpensive ( dare I say cheap.... ) knife that meets my needs, offers quality and value, there is a certain satisfaction that is lacking in the more expensive purchase . Great review.👍

Great video. Agree with all your pics. I would expand on that and add any knife from rough ryder carbon II black macarta handle slip joints from rough ryder. I really enjoy that series also.

That blue RR VG10 stockman is a great knife. I gift that to younger friends who have never carried a pocket knife before. It doesn't look all "grandpa", it doesn't feel big in the pocket, and holds an edge a very long time. The Old Timer Heritage series is great too. I would add the Buck 375 which is a great little two blade knife that is perfect for the watch pocket in your jeans. $11 and change at Walmart.

Nice selection there TK.

Must admit I am very impressed with the Queen Sawcut Bone Canoe, it certainly punches above its price-point!

Those are all great choices. Loving my stagbone halfhalk. The queens are amazing walk and talk and more for the money, just gotta stockman. Thanks for sharing. Great video!

Great video and thanks for sharing! Some very nice options. The Queen sawcut bone canoe and Barlow are really a huge cut above for the price!

Great picks it’s pretty hard to think about 14-16 price point for some of those knives…… I’ve put a couple of them through the paces to see how they would hold up for that price point…….. 440A holds up and I’ll bet you I can get that stuff so sharp your mom would even be impressed 😮love ya Johnny!!!

Recently started carrying a special gift Swiss Army knife. The blade stays wicked sharp with only infrequent dressing on a carbide sharpener meant for garden pruners. It is the fisherman model, so it has clippers and a true Phillips screwdriver instead of corkscrew.

Great selection of knives for the $$. Still not a huge faan of the half hawk, but may have to get 1 just to have 1 lol. Thanks again for all you do.

TKJohn, great video topic, as there is an actual, "virtual" plethora of value-priced pocket knives out there, so it's good to get a collector's perspective to help sort through the herd. Thanks.

All good!!! I like the Marbles Copperheads and their GI knife, wanted one since I was a kid (they were Camillus then?) but never got around to it. Slightly kicking myself there because you could get them in surplus stores, the American made ones for years for very little money along with German Army knives and British Army clasp knives.

My wife may be hunting you down, just picked up three Queen saw cut bone slip joints from CKW. Thanks for the review.

Excelllent choices Thrifty!! I also have experience with the Cinnamon Bone Stag choices, the marble D2 stockman and the Queens sawcut. I like the Queen Sawcut Stockman too.

I bought the Cinnamon Bone Stag Half Hawk for his graduation. He commented on my slip joint at Christmas, So I thought I would get him started with a decent pocket knife when he graduates. The D2 mables stockman was a choice,
the Queen sawcut stockman,
the Carbon Classic II half hawk,
Capital Intern,
the Senator and
the upcoming Black Appaloosa Easy

Too Many knives, not enough nephews!! 😂😂😂😂

Good list! I have many of them, but not all. Might have to remedy that.
