So cute! I found a little baby one day in the rain as well. I got a rag and moved it underneath my car to get it out of the rain and dry off. A few hours later I saw the parent flying back and forth to the baby till it was dry enough to fly off with them. It was awesome to see.

What a tiny delicate work of art.
I am so happy to say that my back yard is a bird stopping point in my neighborhood and have had a mother hummingbird nesting there for the past three years but l have never had the pleasure of seeing one of her chicks as up close and personal as this encounter.
What a wonderful experience for this man. I bet he will always remember this baby hummingbird.
