EASY COMPOST in PLACE-Growing Lots EGGPLANT in Containers

I 'Compost in Place' no digging, turning or moving, for LOTS of Eggplants. We have been growing Eggplant all year here in Southern California. Great eating and easy to grow, as long as you keep removing the fruit off the bush. We grow in the ground, and containers, some with woodchips. Yes, my collard has some powdery mildew due to the Hot daytime weather and cold damp nights here in the Winter, center of plants are fine. Still growing strong.

Thats crazy, i have never thought to put kitchen scraps directly on around the plant before! Lol, i dont have much room for a compost bin, so i just never compost unfortunately. I am going to give this a shot! Thank you!

Robbie, you should sell some of your veggies to your co workers or people in the neighborhood. You can put it aside for a retirement fund. I know I will buy from you if I live nearby. Your veggies are all organic.

I am Montagnard indigenous we planted different types of eggplant, I never see double eggplant before it’s amazing look like they are tween.

so they come on dark purple and as they lighten..pick. if real light or yellow...compost. ?

Yes please can you tell us how you cook your egg plant. One year I grew them and I gave away kilos - haven't grown them since.

Our hot weather is not long enough to get eggplant 🤷🏼‍♀️

Beautiful plant!!! Other than fresh use, do you freeze, or dry, or can them? If so, will you tell us? ALSO>>>>How do you cook them fresh, your favorite recipe please! (Inquiring minds want to know!!! Ha!) I will be growing Diamond variety eggplants this year.
