Easy Homemade Peanut Butter Cups: Healthy and Sugar-Free!

Hi Lovelies,
today, I would like to share a recipe for all the peanut butter lovers out there :) I am absolutely addicted to peanut butter and could even eat it straight from the jar with a spoon :D But that's obviously not a real recipe :D If you love peanut butter as much as I do, you probably know Peanut Butter Cups (from Reese's or other brands). I wanted to make them myself but with less sugar (or almost no sugar) compared to the original version. The recipe is very easy and quick to make, and the little peanut butter cups turned out to be absolutely delicious! They make a great snack because they are rich in protein and fats, but still healthy since they contain very little sugar and the fats in them are healthy fats. I kept my peanut butter cups in the freezer, and when you eat them straight from the freezer, it feels like enjoying little peanut butter ice cream balls. Just perfect for summer! :) Definitely give it a try and enjoy!
Ingredients:
(makes 16-20 peanut butter balls/cups )
- 350 g (about 1 2/5 cup) peanut butter
- almond meal as needed (I used about 15-20 tbsp)
- 100-150 g (about 3/4 - 1 cup) good quality dark chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- flaky sea salt for decoration (optional)
