Seeing the connections from Sea of Stars and The Messenger is fascinating.

One of the more clever and cool nostalgia driven adventure games out there that starts out one way (a Ninja Gaiden clone-ish game) and becomes entirely something else that not only makes sense, but it's a flipping hilarious twist that honors 8-bit and 16 bit era of gaming perfectly graphically and sound wise. Absolutely adore this game and it is definitely worth giving a chance. A pleasant surprise of a game to play!
