Ahmed is really exposing himself. He was the one who actually plugged the clock into a power source and set the alarm to go off! What a punk kid!

Thomas, you have done an incredible job with these videos about Ahmed and his disingenuous family. I wish Obama, Zuckerberg, and all the rest of us jackasses (yes, I initially thought Ahmed was being discriminated against) would watch this series. This horrible family took advantage of our good natures to support a minority citizen and our desires to champion the little guy against a broken system. All they have done is support the negative stereotyping of muslims in America. They are actually very stupid people it seems and honestly I thought Ahmed is a bit slow when I heard him speak in interviews.

The business mailing and office address for Twin Towers Transportation in Irving, TX is the home address for Ahmed's family. The Google street map view matches the home the family had their press conference from. It was registered 8/29/14 by Eaz Mohamed, an apparent alias of Ahmed's father, who lists many different names for officers of many different businesses, which would make me wonder why, and if fraud were involved in the businesses. There are actually 7 companies that list Ahmed's home as their address.

My Dad used to tell me "play stupid games, win stupid prizes", but this Muslim boy made out like a bandit...Legal fee fundraisers, scholarship funds, a trip to the White House on Astronomy day, Google Science fair attendance, electronics from Microsoft, a Cube 3-D printer, recognition all over the Muslim world, interviews with morning shows and news broadcasters...shazam! His Dad was already a millionaire. My Dad as wrong!

Well said. Very nice public service announcement. You have exposed deceit and fraud, and vindicated the authorities who handled the case. I commend the teacher for doing the right thing. I have children in school and they need live and grow in a safe environment. It is NEVER okay to be a racial bigot. But ideologies can be ostracized.

This may not end well for this family.   I recall that ballon-boy's dad went to jail, after his kid said on live TV "We did it for show".   I think it's more likely that Ahmed's family decided to fraudulently exploit this incident after Ahmed got in trouble, for being a stupid kid.

Notice how none of the people who defend Ahmed also defended the "pop tart gun" kid. Plus he didn't get an invite to the White House.

Agree totally that this was done at the behest of the father and/or adult family figures in Ahmed's life. Should also point out that Marc Cuban indicated on Bill Maher that during a telephone conversation with Ahmed seeking details, that he heard Ahmed being coached by an older sister. The motive could be multi-pronged: political, religious and litigious.

Richard Dawkins suggested motives solely from Ahmed to commit the fraud, prompting criticism he was attacking a 14-year-old. I think placing blame on him is unwise given his age and likely lifetime influence by his family, if the family had been brainwashing the young man all of his life, where he'd be willing to take part in such a fraudulent activity.

Ahmed, Ahmed... In American Al Jeezira he still says he put together the clock "from scrap" around the house. This will definitely be the undoing of him. He also says that he actually plugged the clock in, and set the alarm to go off, during his English class when he showed the "clock" to a class mate. This was after his science teacher said not to show it around.

Wow, you were so right, right now you have the highest order of the "I told you so" power, the kid just demanded 15 million dollars as compensation for what happened.

and near the middle of the article it said "During English class, the clock *beeped*, annoying his teacher. When he brought the device up to her afterward, she told him “it looks like a bomb, ” according to Mohamed."

which ended up me asking the stupid question. You know with 120v transformer(I think that's what that white block is[I'm not too keen electronics]) and 9v battery connector, how did the device make the beep noise in the classroom? I mean if that device made a 'beep' noise, then it needed to be power from...well.. a power source. I don't know maybe I'm being stupid or something, but I'm just saying how did it beep? LOL

Thomas thank you for the three videos which you have created. Your presentation is both informative - establishing facts - and presents the logical reasons for the actions of those persons who have perpetrated this fraud.

I'm a 60 year old white male and if I tried to get through airport security or into my county courthouse with that exact same device I would be in a lot of trouble, at least until things got sorted out. My being detained and asked some fairly pointed but reasonable questions would have nothing to do with my height, age, gender, or skin color. It would be due to security using reasonable human judgement to protect others WHICH IS THEIR JOB. It is what we pay security to do. Look for UNUSUAL activity or behavior.

"This was an exploitation of a stereotype."

Well said. Perfectly phrased.

BTW, Ahmed's family attend the same mosque as these two guys:

Irving is dealing with the issue of members of the community trying to implement Sharia law (tribunals) in addition to American law, similar to what Europe has done. It nearly happened if not for a 5-4 vote. Just a little perspective...

I agree with that you say. The only question I have is, , , What was the probable cause for arrest?

What made the police think he was making a hoax bomb (remember we do not have all the circumstantial evidence that we have now such as he didn't build the clock, his family are activists etc)

He said quote, "Sometimes stereotypes exist for a reason." what a racist.

Considering what happened in Oregon this week, I think the teachers and authorities acted very rationally in the case of Ahmed's clock, don't you?

The more I read about this case and the more I see peoples ignorant comments make me lose faith in all of humanity.
