Ukrainian residents recall Bucha terror under Russian soldiers - BBC News

Ukrainians living in Bucha, near Kyiv, have described the terror of Russian military occupation on their doorstep.

A father and son, who are now trying to repair their home, said soldiers ordered them out, fired shots and discussed killing them.

"I don't know how I am going to walk around the streets anymore after everything that has happened," said mother and wife Tanya.

Russia has denied any involvement in the atrocities. But its burned-out tanks litter the city.

The BBC's Clive Myrie reports from Bucha.

Bucha is a haven relatively to Mariupol. Every weapon the Ukraine needs it should receive. Putin must be driven back, either by diplomacy or by brute force.

At least one of the Russian soldiers saw sense not to hurt them. I remember reading a German soldiers letter to his mother in 1940 or 1941 and in it he boasts of Germany victorys and conquests. His mother simplied replied "this war is a crime and someday we Germans will have to pay for it"
