The Guardian's Luke Harding visits three ravaged Kyiv suburbs and speaks to residents about the devastation they experienced after Russian forces invaded.

One woman, Natasha, recounts the savage murder of her nephew, who she said was shot in the head by soldiers. Harding travels to the 'garden towns' of Bucha, Hostomel and Borodianka, where people had lived peaceful, suburban lives until the invasion

Reporters sometimes ask idiotic questions, " Do you for sorry for the Russian Soldiers who died", ? He asks a Ukrainian victim.., .I think I would have smacked him upside the head for that question. God, .these poor people, please help them 🙏🥀

The boy was "interrogated"? Do you know what the Russian interrogations are like? Contrary to all the police, soldiers and even intelligence services in the world, the Russians aren'tt interested in the truth.
A well-known Polish painter, Józef Czapski (Nabokov's friend), was arrested by the Soviets in 1939. They found a map of Paris in his pocket - he had just come back from Paris. Therefore, he was considered a spy.
Even if the interrogating officer was the stupidest officer in all of Russia, he didn't believe the accusation.
It's just about torturing people, nothing else.

Anyone who says "Soldiers don't act like that! this is all lies!" is a sad sad naive little child.

Now is not the time for lies, it's the time for honestly, honesty and action.

The worst kind of people are those who do not show respect towards other people's lives and posessions. Seems there is a huge concentration of them in a certain country... .

Russia spent years supplying weapons Bashar al Assad and when he was criticized for it, Putin replied that they were just selling weapons to the "legitimate government of Syria" and that the practice was "in full compliance with the norms of International law". Ukraine's government is way more legitimate than Syria's regime will ever be, since Zelensky was elected w/ 73% of the votes in 2019 elections certified by OCSE, PACE and IEOM as free and fair, so Putin doesn't have the slightest right to bother us about arms sales to Ukraine...

This reporter just won the worst question “so what happened here” “do you feel sorry for the Russian soldiers that died here( in Bucha)” really that’s the best you had

At the beginning, the questions asked seemed self evident - it seemed the journalist was not prepared. Maybe he was in shock from what he was witnessing. He did much better as the video progressed - making it overall a good piece of work!

The reporter has come across as cold and not much empathy. He’s more interested in getting the story on paper. He could have hugged that poor woman who lost everything on the 6th floor.
