Fun fact, the design of the Tomy (technically Plarail) mail van is a repaint of a pre-existing mail van from the JNR which is why it's design is inaccurately ass.

With how much people charge for a SINGLE Show-Accurate Trackmaster Sodor Mail van, I do not blame you for using the AEG ones. Not to mention how rare they are to even find. They’re the Funko Shadow Freddy plush of Thomas Merch, if you know, YOU KNOW.

Here’s something to consider in the future, but the AEG push along Ashima comes with a small mine truck which looks really good with the mid Sodor engines

I’ve found that card paper works for covering large curved holes as it’s more stable. After that, you can use tape over it to keep it in place.

As a Thomas Wooden Railway fan, I had to buy some unpainted vans from Orbrium both as a cost-cutting measure (since the official Thomas Wooden Railway ones are discontinued, rare, and expensive) and to bring out my customization skills. I based two smaller ones on the Trackmaster models (one of them was green and based on the Speed Post one from a 3-car pack, and the other was orange with the modern mail logo), and one bigger one on the 1996 Thomas Wooden Railway model.

1:02 Instead of chainging wheels, maybe change the chassis with a TOMY one if you want
like TOMY did with the brakevan and flatbeds (etc), they made the wheels smaller to match the sizes

You should try swapping the roof with the one from the van in the graffiti Percy pack. I don’t know if it would work or not, but I have both this van and that van and they look to be the same size so maybe it would work??? (or just wait to the 80th Percy pack to come out and use that mail van instead lol)

1:45 bro has a tomy oliver in the backround like it’s the most common thing and the custom looks great but I would have took a cardboard cutter or something and cut the mail van a little bit shorter

I would recommend filling the gap in with blu tack or playdough to smooth out the roof
