Good one Brian now my only issue with stopping some services and processes is that there are a lot that frankly I have no idea about what they do.

Windows 10 will no longer get feature updates. I use a program called KillEmAll. After I boot up and wait until everything gets loaded, I run KillEmAll and it cuts my processes almsot in half.

I notice Microsoft Edge is included in the list. I've always thought removing that was guaranteed to cause all sorts of problems...much as I'd love to be rid of it.

I find Autoruns useful. It's an older program but still does the job.

Some of the apps pinned on the Start Menu are not actually installed on your system. It's click to install. Remove the ones you don't want

On one of my windows tablets I have installed Ghost WIN11.PRO.22H2.SUPERLITE, 55 processes in background.
I don't use it for banking, only as travel device, movies, surfing, etc.

in terms of running 0&0 shutup.. do you keep the settings that you changed with the application even if you uninstall the app or delete the app?

I use revo uninstaller to get rid of bloat. I also use o&o shut up 10 and of course, using the group policy. I use winaero tweaker to make my os more customized and i use RoundedTB on windows 11 machines. (mine is windows 10 so i wont be using it.)

I bought a new laptop today. The first start will be to create a local account. Will some functions be limited? Shutup is useful as a battery saver 🙂, but I won't use it on my third laptop. Maybe I'll be spied on more, but it's better for the system to run smoothly.

I mean...I install Photoshop, but I'm not stupid enough to tell it to start on boot.

Hey Britec, why can't I fix the windows warning about how my "Kernel-mode hardware enforced stack protection is off"
I looked into it and apparently it has something to do with the Chipset driver, so I updated to the latest AMD chipset driver but the warning is still there.
