Update: you won't find one of these on E-Bay for less than US$300 as of 2018, if you can find one at all. Even the standard DC joystick is selling for over $100. A better and cheaper option is to buy a Namco stick for the PS2 and use a converter to plug it into the DC. The Namco stick is very good for an off the shelf unit and can generally be found cheaper than the original DC stick.

I also have this arcade stick. I am by no means an expert with arcade sticks but I agree it is functional enough for standard play. It's fun to use when friends join in! I am raw with the controller but the arcade stick humbles my play big time lol. Nice review.

I have always wanted to buy one, but I was hesitating, and in 2007 they were no video review of it on the web . But I never heard of a playstation versin of it

For a Dreamcast arcade stick, I recommend a white crown lever bat-top joystick, four multicolored sanwa buttons to represent the colors of the X, Y, A and B buttons and two white sanwa buttons to represent the colors of the Z and C buttons.

Nice! Makes me want to play some Street Fighter. I've not really delved into SF3 as of yet, so I got that ahead of me. People have said the sound sucks on it, but from what I could hear in this video it wounds awesome!

Necro-ing this forum as I just wanted to say I bought my version off amazon after seeing this for $100. The version I got (years ago now) isn't a mini but more like the full size variants found today but made by the same company and colors. Little late I know but I just thought of it now. Would love to see a tear down to know if it's worth it to swap to more authentic arcade parts.

Id use it by myself in a Tourney, I like the idea of having two sticks for myself lol

I own one. 100% CIB. Bought it many years ago new 4 about $45. As i commented over at DC-Talk, i disagree that its functional 4 competitive fighting play, and even with a complete sanwa mod I wouldn't deem it tourney ready simply due to its miniature size leaving little room 4 two player let alone hand room (especially on P1 side!). I've tried it with all DC fighters myself and it sucks. What the stick is good 4 though, is other genre types like Shmups and Puzzlers. Luv using it with SPF2X: FMS

Hmmmm... I have the PS2 Blaze dual stick, which I used for my Dreamcast by way of the Total Control Plus PS2-DC controller adapter.
But, now that I know that this exists, I will be in the hunt for one.

Then i'd recommend searching for a standard size Dreamcast BLAZE DC stick if that's your thing. Although there much better DC sticks worth using over a Twin mini for serious play.

The reviewer says the stick isn't that good or accurate, he's done a partial overhaul w/plans to completely retool it! Also, if you see it for $100 then it's a good buy... huh? From a Collectors POV, maybe however it should be CIB. However from a Gamer/Consumer perspective $100 is a lot of money for a plastic shell & some stickers.

How do people feel this compares to the virtua stick pro for sega saturn? Obviously not same system but it's pretty easy to use it on dreamcast. I own a sanwa modded virtua stick pro and was wondering if the blaze sticks are with looking into

I have one of these but on the left stick the up function does not work. You mentioned replacing the internals. Is there any way I can just replace the micro switch? Hope you can help.
