My calves are too sore to use the poky ball like that. I just use my fingers while lying on my back with my foot in the air. I just don't do it often enough. I don't think my calves should be sore as much as they are. It's like they are NEVER not sore to the touch. They dont hurt when just sitting here but they are a little sore hiking up hills and when I poke at them or massage them. For the last 2+ years. Ive backpacked on them for 1700 miles. Had a shin splint in 2019 after hiking 700 miles that summer but I got off it for two weeks and it went away and never returned.

Thanks this helped me with shin splints. Sound is a bit hard to hear though
