Valorant - SSD Vs HDD | Load Time Test | Game Performance Test

The difference between HDD and SSD is not the thing to be watched but experience.

It's quite surprising how well SSD handles the game for a smoother gameplay.

In this video we will be checking the Loading time with game files as well as game maps. Also game's performance is tested between both Drives.

Be sure to check the frame - time for clear Difference since it shows the stutter effects .

That HDD is real fast. Mine takes like 10 minutes minimum.

I get banned for 20 mins whenever I goes to play unrated or compi, I get frustrated whenever I wanted to play riot should remove the agent selection timing and they should add the option to dodge or not for the other players who are waiting for me and new players can add to that same match so it would be great for the low end pc gamers.

Those who are in the agent selection they can dodge and go to other map without getting any ban .

i thought my HDD is fast enough. but when i count game start time with stopwatch, i got the same time with you. when i start first match, it took 1 minute to enter agent selection and stuttering in the first match ( i have an old potato laptop but its enough to play valo)

yesterday i bought a SSD and yup 2x faster loading screen. and no stuttering in the first match. it took 10 second to enter agent selection in the first match.

Yeah it loads fast but it doesn't matter because everyone start at the same round time. The only benefit is the snappier menus so its negligible.

Hi, i have a question? I have a i5 8250u, mx110 and 8gb ram and i have 60-100 fps depend if i use the tab in game, fps dropped to 40, itd better buy 4gb more or a Ssd? for a smoother gameplay

Actually ssd doesn't have an effect on game performances like your fps.

I know this is an old video but you seem knowledgeable so I'll ask this, these are my laptop specs
i5-1135g7 Cpu
Intel iris Xe graphics
8gb ddr4 ram 2667Mhz
128gb Nvme Ssd
1tb Hdd

I have valorant on my hdd and the loading time is really slow as you may have guessed but I get 100 consistent fps but it stutters during early game and it's enough ti get me killed I just want my game to be stutter free so what do you think I should upgrade? My choices are either upgrading my ssd to 256gb or adding another 8/16 gb 3200Mhz ram to my second slot
Which on of these 2 will reduce the stutter and will dual channeling still work if my Ram is mismatched like that?

Edit: my gpu and cpu are really good they can run DOOM eternal on 70fps on 720p low settings so I suspect the ram or the ssd to be the issue

I have AMD athlon 200ge 8GB ram HDD 300GB i don't have problem in my valorant but the loading is just like 1minute and the fps in game is 60-90

Hey i installed valo on hdd and sometimes it's stuck after agent selection and sometimes afk for 1 whole round then i installed it on SSD and now it's taking more time the. Hdd

I get 30-60 fps in valorant after fully optimizing too
