Hi! I commented on your fiance visa video last year. I'm happy to say that my spouse visa was approved as of today!!! Unfortunately, we were called in for an interview but it was absolutely fine. The interviewer said it looked like we were chosen randomly. We guessed it was as we submitted 18 years worth of evidence and they are testing new ways to record interviews. Just know this is is a possibility for everyone but quite rare. It's easy as long as you have nothing to hide. They ask very specific questions that will catch you off guard if you aren't being honest. Thanks for all of your help!

I used your video when I applied for my fiancé visa in the US ; along with Reddit help. And now I’m applying for the spouse visa in the UK. Thank you so much for such informative videos! I was stressed but your video took almost all the worries off my mind.
When I originally applied for the fiancé visa, I overdid it with the proof of relationship. We’ve been together for 8years now so I had a lot to go off of. Got approved so fast too which I wasn’t expecting; it was like within a month and a half from the biometrics appointment.
Now that I’m doing the spouse visa; I’m glad that it’s less work in a sense. 😅

I didn't see anyone comment before this, but if you apply from outside the UK, you need to go to your local post office to pick up your BRP within 10 days of your arrival! But just to note, physical BRP cards are going to be going away in 2025, so you may not getting one depending on the country you're a citizen of, or if it's later on in 2024.

we are nearly 5 years in on the spouse visa thank god we dont have to pat the nhs surcharge next year its gone up from 600 pounds to over a 1000 a year and we had to put a complaint in it took them 11 months to issue the visa
