Creating Customized Branding in SharePoint 2010

Customizing the branding of a SharePoint site is one of the most common demands organizations have of developers. There are many ways to customize the branding of a SharePoint site, some involving a lot of manual tweaks, and some more automated ways, like deploying a branding feature. But still, even when deploying a feature to customize branding, there are additional steps required by the Site Collection administrator in order to implement the solution.
