Good Morning!

This video looks at curious and sometimes confusing statements in Scripture such as "no one born of God can sin". We'll dig into the fundamental context of that type of statement and others like it spoken by the epistle writers. I'm hoping you'll be greatly encouraged.

Enjoy!

28And now, little children, remain in Christ, so that when He appears, we may be confident and unashamed before Him at His coming.

29If you know that He is righteous, you also know that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of Him.

You would like a book called "light through an eastern window". It is a very old book (may be out of print) that explains some of the things we westerners don't understand.

For example, there is a place in scripture where it talks about heaping hot coals on one's head, like it's a good thing! We would think, what could be good about that? The book explains that when the people had homes or temporary dwellings set up, there was one main fire. Someone got the duty of carrying coals from that fire to the dwellings. It was a privilege to do that because it was very cold and the coals kept them warm, warmer than anyone else in the camp.
I'm not sure if the book is available anymore, but I think you would enjoy it, if you can find it.

The terrible thing about the modern churches they think that we are under grace and that gives them a license to sin and Jesus is just a ticket into heaven while we live a life of sin

For me the understanding comes from the word "practices". No one who is born again is able to practice sin, meaning continue to sin because of the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible has been misinterpreted, and the word has been butchered by another false Christian. Let me ask you something. Do you believe that Jesus has the ability to forgive sins are you aware that Jesus also reconciled all things, whether in heaven or on earth to himself? Do you understand what that means? if you believe Jesus can forgive sins you must also believe that he reconciled all things. What that means is your sense of been forgiven once and for all you are now free from the law, which means you cannot sin! It’s actually very simple. The gospel is very simple. I don’t know how complicate it but God word does not have to be altered interpreted. It is good as is and can be trusted
