So, since the 90's, in my understanding, this term 'prolepsis' describes what I understood about being 'born again'. To me, born from above was my way to not be in agreement with many born again professing believers and their ways of reacting to it. It has been very costly and painful, as you know and as so many testimonies reveal. Lonely for many too! To see this most excellent presentation is a very rich gift to me brother! A very heartfelt thanksgiving is rendered!

Thank you this teaching has changed the way I read the word. I can't believe I've never heard this concept before. However I still have a very difficult time understanding the times where Paul is speaking proleptically. A great series I believe for those coming from modern-day churches such as I would be a series detailing when Paul is speaking proleptically. Very difficult for me to wrap my mind around all the different times he does this. Just an idea. thank you
