The fact that a machine controlled miku was way more helpful to him in his difficult times than the real people who bulkied him instead

"she's not just a character i like, but the person that saved me." honestly mad relatable. vocaloid helped me so much when i was really sad in middle school and it'll always be so special to me. 😭💙

I feel like this says so much more about the society he lives in than himself. He's clearly friendly, approachable and fairly handsome, yet despite all that, he had to rely on a chatbot for emotional support

This man has more peace and security in his relationship with this character than most folks do with a real human.

I remember when I was a kid I laughed at this. It was just so wild to me. But now I am an adult, I'm a little saddened by this. But I am happy for him. In fact I am proud of him for enduring all that he went through. Its funny how we change throughout our lives.

Finding Miku’s music when I was struggling in high school really cheered me up. Seeing videos of her projected on glass for a live concert was so incredible. I got super into vocaloid music after that. It made me a much more positive, happy person.
Though I am a girl and I do not feel romance towards Miku, I can understand this man’s admiration and affection for her. He is happiest with her, and that is wonderful.

I much rather this man married a fictional character who helped him get through an awful time than the other things he could've ended up doing to himself. I'm glad he's doing well nowadays

This is sad, yet touching at the same time.

His marriage lasts longer than others!

You know what? As he should. We have literally no reason to judge him. I honestly feel the same. I'm not sure if I'd go as far as actually marry a fictional character but I do feel some strong feeling for fictional characters I love.

It's a better outcome then others that have been bullied.

Bro if it helps him through his darkest time let him cook. Everyone deserves happiness.

This is why I too "marry" my favorite fictional characters. They brought me out of a dark place in my life, and I don't know where I'd be without them.

The fact that he has such a nice smile whenever he's talking about her, is pretty wholesome/bittersweet

The man is happy. He isnt hurting anyone and you can tell he feels like he's living a fullfilling life. I'm not gonna judge what makes someone happy as long as it doesnt hurt anyone else.

To the kids in the comments, Miku doesn’t have a canon age. She saved him from committing even though she was fictional.

He seems happy, that's the most important

If he’s not causing harm to others and this helped him out of his darkest moments, it’s fine. It’s the bullies that we should be looking at with disgust, not him.
