1 box Red Lobsters biscuit mix
1 16 oz. pkg. breakfast sausage
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz. shredded Monterey jack cheese

everything bagel recipe
everything bagel seasoning

Italian sausage stuffed mushrooms

24 oz. button mushrooms
1/2 pound ground Italian sausage
1 med chopped onion
1 T. minced garlic
1/3 cup beef broth, chicken stock, cooking wine
1/2 t. Salt
1/2 t. Pepper
1/2 t. dry thyme
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
3/4 cup parmesan cheese grated

both sausage balls and mushrooms can be made ahead, frozen before baking,
take out of freezer, place on parchment paper lined cookie sheet
bake 30 to 40 minutes in a 350 oven
stays good in freezer up to 3 months

My stepmother made the celery with cream cheese and crushed pineapple.

Miss Lori, you could put that mushroom filling in a zipper bag while it is still room temperature, cut off the tip and fill your mushrooms. Then refrigerate your filled mushrooms. After 45 minutes or so then you could bake them. They all look fabulous.

I confess, appetizers are my favorite too! I stopped buying soft cream cheese a while ago. I now use my beaters and mix 3-5 tablespoons of whole milk, half and half or heavy cream. Add one at a time until you get the right consistency. So much cheaper and it really works!!!

Definitely plan on making Itl. Sausage mushrooms. My nephew stopped at my house today. He was telling me about sausage/mushrooms that he had bought at a locally owned store that they make so I am going to make these for him

My kids liked “ants on a log”, peanut butter topped with raisins on celery. The version I like is cream cheese topped with dried cranberries on celery. 😁

Hello Lori & Dan. When my Mom was alive, she would do the cream cheese on celery and then sprinkled with paprika. Your sausage balls and stuffed mushrooms will be great to add to our holiday celebrations. Thanks for sharing with us. Be well.

To this day when I go out to eat ( which is not often) I just order appetizers and a salad. Talk about chicken wings I remember when you could go to the Butcher Shop and get the backs, necks, tails, hearts, they were called. Cat food bags and were free. Made some good soup out of those when times were tough

All three look yummy Lori…I had to chuckle when I saw the cream cheese stuffed celery…so simple but I love them…my mom would always make them on thanksgiving morning and that’s what we snacked on before the big dinner…fond memories…totally would love the spinach dip recipe and look forward to all your coming holiday recipes…thank you my friend for all your work…god bless xox

Oh, for goodness sakes! When I was young, I worked in a kitchen and we made those stuffed mushrooms! Not once did I ever get to try one. Thank you ma'am for this beautiful memory and recipe.

I've been doing my meatballs/sausage balls in the air fryer, at 385* for 8-9 minutes. Don't crowd, so cook 1/2 at a time. Quick and yummy crowd pleaser!

Try mixing the sausage and biscuit mix together first, then add the cheese. It seems easier to get the biscuit mix incorporated into the meat without having to deal with the cheese. Then just mix the cheese and sausage mixture together.

Thank you Ms Lori What a great idea .I used to cook every holiday dinner every year by myself Full course old fashioned cooking way to much food 10 to 12 pies and enough to send enough for another meal with a pie for every family to take home Around 20 to 25 people I stopped about 5 years ago. But seeing your appitizors I could see those going along with a baked sliced rib roast, ham, turkey with a sliced cheese tray different rolls and breads g, for, few salads and simple sides with a couple good deserts Yummy and practical stress free.

Ms. Lori, you reminded me of how my Grandma, on holidays, always put out trays of celery stuffed with cream cheese and topped with Salad Elegance. As kids, we could eat as many as we liked because celery is a vegetable :)
