5 DEVASTATING Mistakes Players Make in Wuthering Waves !

With as many people as there are joining wuthering waves I thought it would be important to help new players escape from 5 of the most heartbreaking mistakes many of us have already made!

I would recommend to use ur solvents. It's worth the cons if you can reach union level 40 beforehand. Everything goes quicker, and I personally was done with all the quests, challenges and map exploration at union level 32-33 or something (can't remember exactly). And grinding to union level 40 from there on without solvents is gonna be annoying and very slow. Yes. they're better spent when you're level 40 for the rewards, but the grind gets 4x tougher, since echo hunting, character building and all that goes very, VERY slow.

And if you ask me - statistically with logic:
I haven't done actual calculations but I would guess using solvents and getting proper builds on your characters early on gives you a much better advantage to get the higher rewards in coming events and so forth like the abyss challenges than to wait it out until you reach union level 40 and miss all those rewards. I've used all my solvents, not even level 40 yet but since I've built my characters pretty op, I can beat all the event challenges, every single boss in the game (holograms, abyss included) - which has given me much more rewards that I would've missed out on if I didn't invest in that.

Basically, saving your solvents will be boring and slow. It'll take 10x the time to reach lvl 40 than with them, literally. 4 solvents give 240 crystals and you can only naturally get 240 crystals after 24 hours. And with the very generous reward system this game has, you could easily pile up to about 40-50 solvents in total.

I still think using free crystal for early energy to rush to 40 might not be too bad idea. Why? Because the level cap that prevent u from getting gold echo/better gold drop rate is there. As long as u lv40, everything, gold drop rate and others are much much better. Yes you will get more stuff if u store the crystal and use em all after 40 but your account will be far behind in term of echo progression.

A choice to make, but i dont think spending all crystal is such a bad thing. But u have to make sure those energy are put into right thing eg. character upgrade/skill upgrade material etc, not echo/tacet wave.

I have to heavily disagree about the solvent. Burning you solvents on shells before lv 40 is the smartest decision you could make.... dif between lv39 and 40 in shell aquisition is 5%.. 72k against 76k..
however you will reach UL 40 around 5 days earlier /cos we get 42 solvents/.. thats a massive boost in all other drops like 25% for bosses, talents etc.. + 5 days faster gaining much better echo drops.
about the excess money.. you will need them.. trust me bro ::)
