Great work. I have been building a new bathroom for our new master bedroom and the better 3/4 said I should film it and upload it... Well I don't have the you know what to fight off all the tile fanatics. Everyone has their own way of doing it and they all complain... Now our shower is 4x6 with a corner seat like yours but I did a linear drain and a partial half wall by the toilet. She picked out marble and it's not too pricey but the size of the bathroom makes it pricey. I will eventually get it finished this fall when it's finally under 105*. This house is my last remodel....

That is an interesting shower valve you used. We don't have those south of the border. I went with a shower panel on the wall and a separate shower valve and hand unit for the seat area. Getting old with a bad back makes those handy... Don't ask how long I have been working on the master bedroom project... Heat, $ and the body wanting to do it all get in the way.

You....pour at least 1, 500 hours of very skillful the carpentry and plumbing skills of half a dozen master craftsmen....devoting to this project the patience of at least three or four Job's. Me....a visit to Holmes Despot and picking up a three piece direct-to-stud alcove shower wall. This really is one of your best projects...thanks....eh?

Very nicely done! My home was completely done with those ridiculously heavy gypsum (?) backer boards, I had to gut it, 1700 square foot house, the bin guy put his kid through college thanks to me!
I was so glad to see redguard, it works so well. I did two showers very similar to yours the same way. Thank you

I had almost the same shower setup in my basement, except no window and the shower walls were lined with linoleum or something like that. Obviously had mold issues, but luckily they were pretty much contained to that room. It's still all ripped out so this video will help when it comes time to finish it.

Beautiful. I like the added shelf and alcove details. Feeling the pebbles under your feet in the floor has to be kind reassuring feeling even if it’s a bit slippery here and there.
