For me ‘’ I have failed you Anakin, I have failed you “ is more emotional than classical “ you were the chosen one....’’ because Ben knew, that He also response for Anakin’s mistake, if his pupil became a sith, he is a terrible teacher. The most interesting fact, that in Russian version ‘’ I have failed...” translates like ‘’ I’m sorry Anakinn, I am bad teacher

Just wanna point out that at 1:29, you can literally watch Anakin's eyes turn from hazel to Sith orange, signifying that The Dark Side has fully consumed his soul. I believe that this point is when Anakin truly died, and Darth Vader fully took over.

He held out hope that Obi-Wan would side with him, as he did truly love him. But, when Obi-Wan finally injured him, he lost his love for his master.

Anakin’s story is the most tragic in all of cinematic history. He was a slave to the huts until he was 10 he lost his mother at 19 met his padawan a few months later and then both being forced to fight a war the Jedi council never trusted Anakin with anything they all thought he was a horrible Jedi. They never tried to help him with his emotions because he was to much like Qui Gon. Then he had to watch his Padawn leave who was like a daughter/sister to him and the whole Rako Hardeen incident. Then he was forced to spy on the chancellor bringing him closer to Palpatine to manipulate him he was nearly burned to death by the Pearson he thought of as a Father/Brother then he was in a suite that was his own prison of sorts then he died a Jedi killed by the Pearson he thought he could trust most in the clone wars

This scene is so sad, you can see that obi wan blames himself while anakin is totally corrupted by the dark side
