1. This dude got the emotional intelligence of a 12 year old. He was with her because she "looked good" but she put on some weight now? He is blaming HER for HIM being homeless because she kicked him out and he can't work? People who call their ex crazy are usually use it as an excuse for their mentally or physically abusive tendencies..
2. This girl isn't all innocent either. Steve really does have a bias with it comes to women. She shouldn't have been excused for breaking into his apartment and stealing his property no matter what it was. If she really did hit him first that's not good either. Not saying that it makes it excusable for him to hit her.
