What trump doesnt understand is that a country can still have immigration while still protecting the citizens. Only difference is that Canada has much more stricter vetting processes (I believe you must show Canadian immigration that you can be beneficial to the economy to be even considered) than America but it doesn't take a temporary ban to apply such laws.
