In this video, learn about the life of Admiral Yamamoto, a Japanese Fleet Admiral of the Imperial Japanese Navy and commander-in-chief of the Combined Fleet during World War II until his death. Produced by Harrison Terstegge, a student at Hawaii Technology Academy.

Students from the Hawaii Tech Academy, McKinley High School, and Roosevelt High School here in Oahu partnered with the Pearl Harbor National Memorial this year to create several educational videos about the Pearl Harbor attack and other battles of World War II. We are grateful to all of them for their hard work on this project!

Mistake number 1 joining the military, you have to take orders from those above you who don't give a damn about you.

My dad took a Pro Confederate View on 1860s due to famine phobias raised on jingoistic parochial chauvinist westerns while I take a pro Japanese Manchurian Kochang KIms view on 1935 to 1945 since decades before my time both fewer of White race and fewer of Black race of peoples would have tipped Affirmative Action in my favor.
