How to Clean a Tomato Sauce Pot without Soap

This is how I clean my sauce pot after making sauce on an open flame.

I like your resourcefulness and old fashioned ways. I am the same way back in the medieval days when they made soap it was wood ash This animal fat or lard and that's how they made soap. So I keep a dish of wood ash next to my kitchen.Sync in a jar for scrubbing, just like You're doing and you don't need soap.You just need the ash for cleaning. You should try some wood ash when you burn wood And if you have a greasy dish like a glass pan that's loaded with grease from chicken you just add the ashes and clean it. The pink stuff will work on anything in your house. Just about to clean and it's very affordable. However, it is chemicals of sorts. I'm sure door at least the way you clean. This is natural and free.Thank you for this other version of cleaning pots

You can also use ashes instead of dirt and it doesn’t scratch.
