This is spot on. Live in TX and I've never lived anywhere else where I found myself thinking, 'I'm doing 90... I gotta speed up I'm the one that's going slow'.... and same for Louisiana, got a speeding ticket there cuz I was playing by TX rules and the only reason i didn't get arrested and go to jail was because it was Christmas time and the cop didn't feel like it because it was so late at night. Caught me going 108 in a 70 and said, 'I'm just going to round it down so I dont have to arrest you.' Cool dude.

Here in Dallas, the speed limit is 65 or 70, but unless you're in a residential area, or you have something or someone illegal in your vehicle, you and the metro police are likely driving 80-90 and the only people who care are the state troopers (who can't wait to pull you over). 100% a suggestion.

As a Texan, this is so true. You could be going the speed limit and people just pass you and flip you off like you’re going slow. This morning I got honked at for stopping at a stop sign lol.

As someone who was raised in Louisiana then moved to Texas, this is extremely accurate. Those troopers will spawn outta NO where.
