I feel as though we are witnessing the glorious beginnings of Seth's super-villain arc. Since he's been ill, the past few Corrections have given us a more fed up, snarkier, and more antagonist Seth than ever before. And I, for one, am loving it. Others in the comments are saying we've broken him.

Seth, I am Canadian born but I live in Malta now for the last 4.5 years. I often watch all the late night and satire shows on a rotation. I grew up with Stewart and Colbert, matured onto Oliver, but for some reason I find you the most humanizing. You seem to reflect the absolute absurdity of the current zeitgeist in a more honest way than can be described easily. Your weekly sparring with the jackels is a source of amusement, but please take my sincere gratitude (at 4 AM Malta time) that you continue to be a face and a voice for those of us who need to stay informed on how messy the current state of Western politics is, but also need to just be openly broken by the absolute s**tshow it is. You are a hero. And appreciated. Keep it up and stay strong

I think my favorite thing about recent episodes of Corrections when Seth has said he’s in a hurry is that he still takes his time with the corrections/jokes. Because the last time he said he was in a hurry and acted in a hurry, he spilled a Negroni and a giant ice cube (and didn’t save any time, I might add).
