A lot of people are making fun of the 45 on the hip and I say that sometimes because I do carry a 45 on both hips usually. I just use it as an explanation because that tells you where you have it It's a common expression. I'm not saying they're not lying I'm just saying that that's about the only way to describe it fast. I usually say I have my 50 cal on my hip. I don't think a 45 is big enough anymore to stop all the things I've seen around my hometown.

The kind of guys who carry a gun just to go take a leak are the kind whose imaginations will always interpret an unusual encounter as a menacing one. It is both the reason they can't feel safe without a gun, and their ongoing justification for carrying.
