Here are the first round picks from 2014 and what happened.

The NFL Draft is in many ways a crapshoot… No matter how much money gets poured into analytics, scouting, and all the various ways that teams evaluate talent—the reality is that there’s an infinite number of variables that come into play.

And thus, even in the most hyped-up draft classes, there are quite a few surprises that reveal themselves once the players actually start competing at the NFL level.

The 2014 NFL Draft is a great example of this.
