Culinary misinformation. The picture you showed is of Lithuanian variety of borcht called Šaltibarščiai. In Polish this soup is known as chłodnik litewski, or svekol'nik in Russian. The real borcht is hot and red and certainly not exclusive to Poland! I did not expect this level of blatant misinformation from this channel! Unsubscribed!

I'm studying political science in Korea. Those concepts as identity politics, post modernism has been misunderstood and then profaned too much even here. Actually academic fields(especially ours) had made less 'correction' against this situation. I also think that the concept of essentialism is the first stage to start studying postmodern ideas or arguments. Thanks for good video!

Do you ever get tired and discouraged? I have a master in philosophy, but what good is it? Because most people are so insanely disconnected from what the actual problems are. We'll all be drowned in an acid sea before people stop thinking the biggest threat around are gay college students.

I like how this video manages to use postmodern thought as a means of critiquing both Peterson AND identity politics. Most arguments have more than two sides, and this vid illustrates that fact quite well.

Little culinary correction: Polish soup "barszcz" ("borschtsch" or "borscht", actually coming from Ukraine) is served warm. The pink, cold soup shown here as an example is "chłodnik litewski" (Lithuanian cold soup, "šaltibarščiai" in Lithuanian). It is but a variant of borscht, but does not equal to a regular borscht :)

I'm starting to see some of these counter-cultures cannibalize themselves because of essentialism and its so bizzare, attempting to find identity through inherently flawed means, and not being able to break their definitions away from the mainstream or opposite is really stopping it from realizing where they truly want to be. I hadn't the words to express why before this so its appreciated though!
