I NEVER understood the parable of the prodigal son like this before: as a contrast and comparision between the needy and neglected, but humble, repentant followers versus the seemingly faithful, but haughty and self-righteous, between the poor and the religious leaders. Wow. What a revelation! Thank you.

My mind is absolutely blown with how well the Bible Project is able to connect SO MANY things together and truly show how it is an intricately and beautifully woven love story, not a random collection of tales. As I learn more and more, I see how beautiful God and His love for us is as well as the story told in the Bible. I feel so blessed and I feel like my eyes are truly open. Great videos! I disagree on some particular wording, though. Jesus did not make a new comparison that the Passover was like Himself, but that it ALWAYS pointed to Him. So many things foreshadow our Lord and this is definitely my favorite one. Thank you for your videos!
