I recently exchanged my iPhone 11 for an iPhone 14 and went through the transfer where I purchased the phone. It was much faster and easier than the last time I went through this tap dance. Interesting that two apps did not work properly after the transfer. I had to delete the apps and reinstall them. That fixed the issues with no loss of history or data.

Here in the US, no sim card in the series 14 phones. During the transfer, the carrier will assign a ESIM and transfer the existing line to the new device. The old phone will retain all of the data, but phone number will no longer function on it. If you want to keep the old iPhone fully functional, you must purchase a new additional line from your carrier.

I wanted to know, as we set up new phone with old one. Does new phone is having same old settings as we had it in old phone. For example: wallpaper settings, dark mode, and some are like we have locked some apps, passwords, settings in privacy etc etc.
It would be much more helpful.

My current phone (64gb) with a monthly payment for iCloud storage. To an iPhone 14 Plus (256) can I delete my extra iCloud storage and will not lose any photos once it’s been deleted ?
