3:49 You've got the "35→56 / 78→12" switch up. This means that channels 1+2 is not being modded from channel 3+4 but from 7+8. Took me a year to realise this myself. It's probably the most unclear switch on the Lyra-8 and that's saying something :)

You aren’t wrong for using the Lyra as an effects send. There are so many nights that I have spent not touching the pads on the Lyra and just using it’s effects. Very versatile and unless you’ve used it it’s hard to explain how fun they are to use.

I personally think you have missed out on a lot of the Lyra's amazing sounds. If you were to do much smaller moves on the controls, you will find more sweet spots, especially with feedback. Tiny knob movements make all the difference I have found. You mileage may very. By not trying to play it like a synth you can find amazing exploratory sounds.
