UN Secretary-General makes appeal to Vladimir Putin

UN Secretary-General António Guterres has called for a ceasefire in Ukraine during a visit to Moscow for talks with the Russian President.

He insists humanitarian corridors must be established to evacuate people from Mariupol but Russian President Vladimir Putin says Ukraine is blocking the way.

Mr Guterres said the UN believed the “violation of the territorial integrity of any country” contradicts the charter set out by the organisation.

“We are deeply concerned in connection with what’s happening now and we believe that there was an invasion into the territory of Ukraine,” he said.

He can believe that all he wants, but he fact is, the border between Ukraine and Russia has never been officially settled, therefore Russia is not violating international law by moving into Ukraine. If he was certain of his legalities on this, he likely would have said Russia is violating international law.

Well....The sanity of Putin is demonstrated by his actions and what we are all faced with is a mad man, clearly a man with belligerent synonym. To clarify we are all faced with global warming with the weather patterns as evidence and now to the point that action has needed to take place to preserve what we all have left, in the hope that we can reverse our fashioned damage. However it is utter madness, lunacy in fact to increase our global issues by marketing the threat of nuclear war to settle disputes rather than rational discussions, as it would be madness to increase all of our gas and oil productions and ignore that this planet is in needed of help to please the car manufacturing industry. Putin you have lost the plot you are a insane man that is in control of far too much power with this belligerent nature.
