Ah, what a coincidence! I've also just started a Witch build. However, my take is a lot less...macabre? My Witch is a Nord who follows the Nordic Hearth Goddesses, Hawk, Wolf and Moth. My build takes inspiration from the historical Norse Völva (Wand-Witch), or otherwise called seiðkona for what the Nords know as seiðr (witchcraft). The Thu'um correlates nicely with the historical galdr (Words of Power put to song). The Noble Clothes in vanilla look similar to what they would wear (historically, not black and grim robes). The vanilla Staff of Paralysis looks similar to the Völva staves archaeologists have dug up in Nordic graves.

As for mods, Enai Siaion has already named some of his spells in Apocalypse with real-world Nordic names, such as Seidstone, Wyrd and the Summon Nordic Totems. Also included is a staff called "Staff of the Seidkona, " which is perfect to carry around for her "official badge of office." His Triumvirate Shaman spells have the Water, Tree, Wind and Earth Totems, Summon Fylgja spells (fylgja were your 'soul followers' or familiars). Stave of Binding (recalling one of Odin's battle paralysis spells in the sagas), Sacred Hearth spell for your build's Nordic Hearth Goddesses. Shield of Awe rune spell, etc. Just so much potential for creativity in Skyrim for heavy Nordic roleplay!

An alternative for the footwear is wearing the footwraps you start the game with, that way you can keep the wild witch aesthetic and have enchants.

I remember this one! Another old build you could reboot is the gladiator, he had a really cool backstory and there are some really cool colovian armor mods on the nexus now!

These builds are really under appreciated. They really help with not getting bored by the game with that feeling of "i've done everything. I dont know what to do anymore."

The Daedroth and the Hunger models are really well made. Huge respect to the ES modding community. How about a remastered Arcane Archer build (your original build did not include summons so it would be a great fit to use new conjuration spells from anniversary edition and mods as meele tanks)

The Dragonborn Dreams mod might be a fitting addition for this character, to simulate Vaermina's presence in her mind. Perhaps also something like the Sleep Spells mod would be appropriate?

The backstory is absolutely enchanting! I love the dark Breton witch theme, it reminds me of Yennefer of Vengerberg from the Witcher! (Who is basically a Breton herself as she is known to have one fourth of her ancestry originating from elves)
