I’ve understood free-will all of my life, but Frank puts it in a way I’ve never heard it before and that makes all of this beautiful creation our Lord made even better!! Frank Turek is a smart and fearful man of God. God is great and I can’t wait to be with him!!
God bless~

I have often had problems with this very issue, after hearing Mr. Turek explain it, it makes perfect sense. I am so thankful. Perhaps one day I may get the chance to explain it like Mr. Turek did to someone else who is also having problems understanding this.

This is so good. I’ve had all of these questions before myself. I really appreciate Frank. He’s answered a lot of my questions and helps me to understand a lot of things.

This made my day, finally. I came to the church after a miracle followed by God showing me Election and Predestination in the scriptures. So many apologists (frank included) have said in the past if there is predestination or election(as in all of Gods children vs just a remnant ie "the saints") then there is no free will so it can't be true. Glad to hear this finally in anyone's apologetics video. God bless!

this is a new aspect of thought. It brings clarity to what has been a muddy issue in my mind.

God is not limited by the restraints of man, therefore it’s hard for us to understand God because we are so infinitesimal. The best we can do with comprehending God is exercise the FAITH He has given each of us. God is way, way, way above our pay grade but yet He lowered Himself in the form of man, Jesus Christ, to reconcile with us. “But God demonstrates His own love towards us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8.

This is actually the best illustration of free will and predestination that I have ever heard

The one thing I learned from this video that I hadn't already learned from Frank - Cardinal Red and Sooner Crimson DO NOT go together.

“What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? May it never be!

For he said to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who has mercy. For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I caused you to be raised up, that I might show in you my power, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” So then, he has mercy on whom he desires, and he hardens whom he desires.

You will say then to me, “Why does he still find fault? For who withstands his will?” But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed ask him who formed it, “Why did you make me like this?” Or hasn’t the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel for honor, and another for dishonor?

What if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that he might make known the riches of his glory on vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory"
‭‭Romans‬ ‭9‬:‭14‬-‭23‬

Amen!!! We were all called and predestined for Salvation through Jesus but only those who choose and believe in Jesus receive salvation. Salvation through Jesus for any who believe is what God has predestined. That is truly good news for everyone who believes in and receives Jesus!

Frank Turek is excellent at contending for the faith . He Has been a key part at how I think about the written word of God.

God is time. That's why no man can stop time Believe it or not, everybody follows God he is time. And doesn't matter if you believe in him or not. You still follow

Several problems here.

I. God outside time. Is this notion founded on Scripture or is it human philosophy? I would like to see a scripture that suggests that God is outside time.

II. The analogy. The analogy is based on the earlier presupposition that God is outside time. It fails in this: the one watching a re-broadcast match cannot interact with the players to change their course of action. In the Bible, however, there are commands that God gives to people in real time, and expectations that God has of the same, and rewards for obedience and punishments for disobedience. This would only be possible if God were present in the now.

Otherwise, why give a command when you are 100% sure it won’t be obeyed? And even worse, why give a command that, when disobeyed, will attract harsh punishments when you already know it will certainly not be obeyed??

III. God foreknows all that will happen in future without causing it. If before God made anything at all (angels, the world and its inhabitants etc) He already knew what would happen (the rapes, genocides, religious wars, and the end of the world) and yet proceeded anyway to create the world as we know it, then all that has happened and will happen is really a matter of necessity. Free will would be an illusion, and God would be the Author of evil. The problem would be in the kind of creation that God knowingly approved.

This is certainly not Scriptural.

Another example of God using evil for good: Those who called for Jesus to be crucified and the Roman soldiers who did it. Through them, God provided our salvation. ✝️

My question would have been: why does God create people who are obviously incapable of making the reasonable choice ie to live forever?

Our WILL is a will do do evil! It’s bent towards Sin. We are Dead in sin and trespass. We are slaves to sin!
It’s when GOD takes our heart of stone and gives us a heart of flesh, that our will now is to please Him!
We’re all born with the love of the word in us…. When Born Again, we have the love of the Father! It is all a work of God, not our will, least anyone may Boast!
