This is a very quick run-through. I had to flash to the original Canonical Ubuntu mobile OS for the tablet to remove Android, then flash that build with the UBports installer to get the current UbuntuTouch.

Does this work for FHD too? My tablet does not do the install correctly... The Ubuntu logo just shows up 2 second, then it closes down and stays in the bootloader mode ..

What version of Android did you have and does it matter? I just purchased the same brand new BQ M10 HD with Android 8.1.0 preinstalled but read somewhere that only devices with Android up to 7.1 are supported due to current Halium restrictions that is used to port Anrdoid devices to Ubuntu Touch.
