The best part of the solo was in the beginning where he gives us a taste and then makes you wait and anticipate the next set of notes . Most guitar players get nervous in the silence and start filling it up with unnecessary sound, but Quinn holds the silent space with a beautiful liveliness and then places some more beautiful notes on top of that silence . brilliant .

This slowhand style is what I consider a perfect solo…. Nothing flashy, but you absolutely know you heard it….And the band….. can we talk about this pocket? Wow

This young guy is Buddy Guys guy. 15 year overnight star in making. Also has jammed with Santana. Love the slow layered build and the way he puts a bow tie on his riff endings.

I saw Quinn Sullivan open for Buddy Guy at a theater in Nashville when I was 15 and he was 18, it was really inspiring to see someone so young playing like him.

Saw Quinn once again last night March 4, 2023 at a small club in Providence RI. His playing continues to amaze. He is a young man with an old soul. Genius.

Remember seeing videos of Quinn when he was a kid tearing up the blues with legends like Buddy Guy. He’s a great player and has a great voice. Glad he is doing his own thing and killing it!
