Overall, I'm glad I did cub scouts. I don't know if you could say that I learned anything, but I'm glad I did it.

I was in cub scouts and boyscouts for a few years. I would always beg my parents to let me quit because I hated it but looking back, I’m glad I did it. I made a ton of friends and learned a lot of useful skills.

Believe it or not I was in cub scouts with TheOdd1sOut, and I can confirm that everything he said is true.I was in the exact same level as him and there was this very annoying guy name Aiden who kept saying the most stupid jokes I've ever heard.James was really cool and I was friends with him but after the fourth year, I moved back to Romania and we never saw eachother again, maybe you remember me James I was Patrick?I literally just realized that this is the same person after watching this.Please tag him so he can reply so I can see if he remembers me

I remember the Cub Scout people would always come into school to try and coax people into joining their ranks with cool magazines that showed all the TUBULAR things you would do.

I just wanted to go zip-lining, but NO, my parents wouldn't let me join year after year, because it was too much money or something -0-

Hearing about it now though, it just seems like a glorified summer-camp... And I hated summer-camp.

As a former GIRL scout, growing up in Illinois, we did day camp too, so it wasn’t only a Arizona Cub Scout thing.

Edit: except the way we did it, it was only like an annual, one day thing and I guess it wasn’t that bad
