I flip flopped back and forth between these and the a20s during training. My school had numerous examples of both so I’ve used both somewhat extensively. I ended up with a set of these simply because I got a really good deal on them. What I *can* say is that after having used both the Zulu 3 and the a20…they’re pretty comparable in many ways. There’s nothing that would be a deal breaker for me one way or the other. I do find the Zulus to be SLIGHTLY more comfortable than the a20 set but that’s mostly because the a20s get a little bit “pinchy” on your head after a couple of hours. On the other hand, I think the noise cancelling in the a20s is probably a little bit nicer and more thorough. With the price differential, the zulus are a really good option…I got mine “like new” for about half the cost of a new a20 pair. So if there’s anything to take away from this…hold out until you can get a good deal. There’s no reason to spend $1200+ on a headset. That’s completely ridiculous.

exactly my findings and why i chose this set over bose a20. comfort and no additional benefit to spend more on Bose. this zulu3 is a fantastic headset.

Hi Marco, Thank you for your unboxing. I'm also thinking of the Zulu3 vs A20 (more easy to find in France too...).
Zulu3 seems a litle bit better in quality/price.
The Bluetooth looks usefull combined with gps navigation systems on tablet (for alarms)
