Inside 'Heavenly Palace': China's first home in space

Traveling through space can be a dizzying experience even for veteran astronauts. But now, a ticket to Airshow China 2022 gets you onboard China's Space Station without having to leave gravity behind. A full-size replica of the Tiangong is on show in Zhuhai, southern China, from November 8 to 13. Tiangong's deputy chief architect Wang Xin takes CGTN reporter Huang Fei on a private tour inside China's first celestial home.

I remember in the early 90s
was first time i started traveling into the mainland as a teenager along side my parents from Hong Kong China, my eyes would tear up each time I go. They were tears of heartbreak, suffering and pain from the sight of the massive influx, in the tens of thousands if not 100s of thousands or millions, of the homeless begging for food displaced from other provinces in China who roamed into Shenzhen looking for HOPE. They were called the "blinded goers" in Cantonese because they had no where to go or stay. They were also undoubtedly, my Chinese peoples, my blood and among the homeless were countless kids and toddlers in raggy clothes with holes in them and they all looked like they were starving and hadn't showered probably ever before. I didn't know what to do or what I could do! I was only a young teen with my parents. My dad would say don't give them money or they will swamp us. No Words can express the pain and suffering that I witness. The sight of this sea of blinded goers all over the streets of Shenzhen is still so vivid in my mind. Witnessing things like that stays with you for a life time.

, of my China and it's successful completion of its first space station, it bring tears to my eyes as well. Tears of joy, pride, thankfulness and sense of accomplishment for China. Just in my short life time of 40 some years, my China has made it from rags to riches and from backwards to being advanced!! Go to Shenzhen today all you will see is happiness, young people dressed in fashion, high technology and a city that is so vibrant and full of optimism. And that's the same throughout every city and corner of China today! Even in rural China. People are still optimistic BECAUSE there is finally HOPE OF A BETTER TOMORROW!

Very cool! I love seeing updates about the space program. It's always so inspiring!

I am also looking forward to the launch of the Xuntian telescope that will be in the same orbit as the station. I think it's very smart to have the ability to dock it with the station for maintenance and such.

Me wondering now who is doing the housekeeping whenever new crew checks in and departing crew checks out.

Why would they ever get rid of the ISS? Why can't they put it up to a higher "parking" orbit, and leave it there. We should be able to re-use these modules, as they're already up in space, seems like a waste of money to let them burn up in the atmosphere after trying to get it up there.
