I kinda wonder... what about the subtropical zone? the one between tropical and temperate zones? and not to forget that the earth is not straight like that, but is a little on the side. Does this not affect the weather at all?

Thats why plants for Boston are sold in southern Texas and rot off.  We are also classified as temperate like Boston but the weather falls just short of tropical.  We dont have 4 seasons its really 2 seasons
