Mongol Invasion of Tangut Kingdom 1209 | DOCUMENTARY

In the year 1206, Ghengis Khan would unite Mongolia’s fractious tribes and lead them on a campaign of world conquest, which would be carried on by his sons and grandsons long after his death. Their efforts would see the domain of the Eastern Horse Lords expand beyond the quiet Northern grasslands of their forefathers, to the edges of the Pacific Ocean in the east and to the Baltic and Mediterranean Seas in the West.

In the year of the Dragon, 1209, the thundering hooves of 30,000 Mongolian cavalry heralded the first Mongol expansion into China. The Tangut Campaign was the first contest of arms between the newly unified Mongol nomads, and the resources of a powerful settled kingdom.

wow how much knowledge from the ancient world is lost. Everyone and they mother cry about the book burnings of the crusades but no one seems concerned about the Mongul scroll burnings

Chinghis doesnt mean ruler of the world. Just think about the word itself. Chin means honest and gis part is most likely from word Gisgeeh means to punish. So the whole word means honest punishment. It would make much more sense if you speak Mongolian. Its kinda very complicated to explain in English.

Он повторяет то что написали русские историки. А русские историки переписали историю тюрков. 1943- 1944 году Сталин бал приказ переписать историю тюрков. Потому что русские боялись тюрков. Чингисхан тюрок не монгол. Нынешняя территория Монголии называлась до 20 ого века Туркестаном.
